Before you Connect

Confirm paper width (58 mm or 80 mm), interface cables, and the host OS image. Have the matching driver package ready from the product download page in Drivers Center.

Physical Setup

  1. Place the printer with rear ventilation clear and power accessible.
  2. Load media with the thermal coating facing the print head.
  3. Close the cover firmly and run a self-test if the model supports it.
  4. Connect USB or network according to the lane standard - do not mix interface types casually across sites.

Host Configuration

Install the archived driver version used for the gold image. Map the printer in the POS or middleware using the same port naming convention across stores.

Fleet Tips

  • Document cutter type and spare cutter intervals
  • Keep one sealed spare roll SKU per site
  • Record firmware version alongside the driver in the site runbook
